Our quality standards
Third-party lab tested
Every product is independently tested for purity, potency, heavy metals, and microbiological contaminants before listing. We can provide COAs (certificates of analysis) on request.
UK regulatory compliance
All products are reviewed against UK food supplement regulations, including the Food Safety Act 1990 and EU-derived retained law. We do not sell prescription medicines or controlled substances.
Honest labelling
All products are listed with accurate ingredient lists, nutritional information, dosage, and allergen declarations. We follow the UK Food Information Regulation (FIR) 2014.
No banned substances
We screen all products against the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) prohibited list and UK law. We do not sell anabolic steroids, prescription medicines, or unlicensed medicinal products.
How we review products
We only source from suppliers who hold GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification or equivalent. We verify their documentation before any products are listed.
Every ingredient is checked against UK food law, the Food Supplements Directive, and our internal restricted substances list. Any ingredient of concern is escalated for legal review.
All health claims must comply with the GB Nutrition and Health Claims Register. We do not permit unauthorised disease or medicinal claims on any product listing.
Where required, we commission independent third-party testing to verify label accuracy, identify contaminants, and confirm there are no banned substances present.
Listed products are reviewed periodically. Formulation changes by manufacturers trigger a full re-review before the updated product can continue to be sold.
What we will never sell
We enforce strict restrictions on our catalogue. The following categories of products are permanently excluded from Medibro:
- ✕Prescription-only medicines (POMs)
- ✕Controlled substances under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971
- ✕Anabolic steroids (e.g. testosterone, trenbolone, SARMs)
- ✕Unlicensed pharmaceutical products
- ✕Products making unauthorised medicinal claims
- ✕Novel foods without ACNFP approval

Dietary and allergen information
All products include clear allergen labelling in line with the UK Food Information Regulation. The 14 major allergens are clearly flagged on every product page. Dietary tags (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, halal, kosher) reflect the manufacturer's own declarations. Where a tag is unverified or not independently certified, we note this clearly.
